Lazarillo GPS

…mapping the city of Madrid for wheel chair users…
I was collaborating on a project Lazarillo GPS by Carolina Calluori, which was realised as a part of Visualizar08- intensive production workshop organised by Medialab Prado, Madrid Aim of the project was to develop a map of Madrid, which would meet special requirements of wheelchair users – tourists. During the workshop a prototype of one route was created. Unfortunately it seems a bit unclear if the project will be developed any further. I have designed this logo, and done a bit on the website.

My 1st programming attempt… : )

Thoughtscapes is a small program, which converts written text into colourful patterns.Images you can see here are made of diary like records, written by me and two of my friends over a period of three months.
The patterns are inspired by nature. In particular by the order in which seeds in seed pods are distributed. Each “seed” of the pattern represents a letter of the text.
The position of the “spiral” is not random. It depends on the geographic location of the place where the text was written.
